Today's "Tip of the Day" is how to use modeling instead of correction with your children. Modeling is an excellent way to show your child how to do tasks, communicate effectively, respond to emotional situations and influence behaviors. Try modeling appropriate and correct actions/words instead of simply correcting your child. Providing the model will make a bigger impact and increase the likelihood of the appropriate response being repeated.
